The judge who cried a river during the hearing over Anna Nicole Smith's burial is now being sued for allegedly swindling an old lady.
83-year-old Barbara Kasler just filed suit, claiming Judge Larry Seidlin -- one of her neighbors -- took advantage of her poor health for his family's personal gain. Seidlin was cleared in a criminal elder abuse investigation but now the old lady is mounting a civil attack.
Among the allegations:
-- Seidlin's wife Belinda talked Kasler into selling the Seidlins a $600,000 condo for half the price.
-- Belinda convinced Kasler to sell her a parcel of land worth $50,000 for only 10 bucks.
-- Kasler wrote the Seidlins over $500,000 worth of checks, including $130,000 to help pay off their mortgage, $100,000 to buy a new house in Pennsylvania and $54,260 for their daughter's tuition.
The lawsuit claims Seidlin was licking his chops after finding out the old lady was loaded. The good judge has denied all the allegations.

One of the Anna Nicole Smith docs accused of a felony prescription drug conspiracy -- didn't show up for his court hearing this morning -- and the judge may have him arrested.
Sandeep Kapoor's attorney claims he didn't show because of a medical emergency involving one of his patients.
Howard K. Stern and Khristine Eroshevich did show up. The judge set August 12 for their preliminary hearing.
The judge has agreed to hold back on the arrest warrant until 11:30 AM -- if Kapoor doesn't show by then, doc could be cuffed and thrown in the pokey.
UPDATE 11:30 AM PT -- Kapoor finally showed so the warrant was quashed.

Howard K. Stern and two doctors, Khristine Eroshevich and Sandeep Kapoor, just pled not guilty to a pile of charges in the Anna Nicole Smith drug case.
The dynamic trio have each been charged with 6 felonies -- after a massive investigation that led prosecutors to charge that they funneled drugs to Smith in the years leading up to her death.
All three defendants had no problem with giving the D.A. handwriting samples that cops could use in determining who signed what prescriptions.

Anna Nicole Smith's half-sister is suing the publisher of her book, "Train Wreck: The Life and Death of Anna Nicole Smith," because she claims she hasn't been paid for exploiting Anna Nicole's tragic death.
According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, Donna Hogan claims she never actually entered into a final written contract with Phoenix Books and Audio, Inc. She claims they went and published it anyway, but more importantly, they did not:
-- Promote it
-- List her as the sole author
-- Pay her 40% of the gross receipts
-- Try and sell the book to Europe
-- Attempt to sell the movie rights
-- Pay her $200k upfront
She is seeking unspecified damages.

Judge Larry Seidlin finally has something to cry about -- he's just been axed from the will of a very rich old woman.
The judge who became famous for deciding where Anna Nicole Smith should be buried was named a beneficiary in the will of Barbara Kasler, a neighbor in his Florida condo complex. But Seidlin's place in the will angered Kasler's niece, Corine Kasler, who accused Seidlin and his wife of abusing the old lady -- a charge the Seidlin's vehemently deny.
Now, Corine has somehow convinced her auntie to strike Seidlin from the will.
Judge Larry and his wife are hurt, claiming the old lady was like family -- their daughter considered her a grandma.
As for the money ... Seidlin says they didn't even know they were included in the will ... until recently.

California Attorney General Jerry Brown played defense on Tuesday after Howard K. Stern's court hearing in the Anna Nicole Smith drug case, insisting he didn't abuse his power by gunning for H.K.S.
Stern's lawyer, Steve Sadow, lashed out at Brown, essentially calling him a demagogue who was aching to win the next Governor's race, using Stern as his stepping stone.
Brown said there was nothing wrong with devoting a boatload of money and resources to investigating Stern and Anna's two docs. He didn't exactly answer our question -- Would he have devoted the same resources if Anna Nicole wasn't the "victim?"

Howard K. Stern and Khristine Eroshevich did not enter pleas today in L.A. County Criminal Court -- their arraignment in the Anna Nicole Smith drug case was delayed until May 13.
Stern's lawyer, Steve Sadow, told the media after the arraignment that "[Howard] is innocent. Let me repeat that, he is innocent."
Sadow reiterated what we first reported -- Stern plans to fight these charges to the end, because he believes he did absolutely nothing wrong.
Sadow excoriated California Attorney General Jerry Brown, saying he should be "ashamed of himself" for using Anna Nicole to further his career.

Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, the psychiatrist accused of conspiring to fuel Anna Nicole Smith with illegal prescription drugs, also just arrived.

Howard K. Stern won't cut a deal with the D.A. in the Anna Nicole Smith drug case, and sources tell us the only reason he'll plead not guilty is because there's no such thing as a plea of innocent.
Our sources say Stern will show up in court for his scheduled arraignment today, but the matter will likely be continued. But when he does enter a plea it will be a loud "not guilty" to all felony drug and conspiracy charges.
This case is the opposite of Chris Brown's, where Mark Geragos and the prosecutor are wheeling and dealing. We're told Stern wants a fight to the end, because he believes he did absolutely nothing wrong.
The arraignment is set for 8:30 AM PT, and, of course, we'll be live streaming.

The judge who famously broke down and cried during the epic Anna Nicole Smith Florida hearing is now accused of abusing an elderly woman.
The niece and the caretaker of 83-year-old Barbara Kasler lodged a complaint on the Elderly Abuse Hotline in Florida, accusing Judge Larry Seidlin of doing several horrible things to his neighbor and family friend -- including "failing to feed and medicate" Barbara, and "endangering her health with poor care."
But Seidlin says it's all B.S. -- a ploy by several disgruntled people, including the old lady's caretaker.
Last year, Seidlin was investigated by the State's Attorney's office for allegedly trying to milk Barbara out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts -- he was cleared of any wrongdoing.

TMZ has learned Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, the psychiatrist accused of conspiring to fuel Anna Nicole Smith with illegal prescription drugs, is officially behind bars.
The doc was booked at Van Nuys Jail at 11:11 AM PT. Her bail was set at the same price as Howard K. Stern's -- $20,000.
UPDATE -- She was released at 1:58 PM PT.
