"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Nicholas Brendon fell short in the slaying department a few hours ago, after he allegedly swung at a couple of cops, and then went on a misguided foot chase.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they received a call that a drunk man was causing a commotion in Venice, CA. When police responded, sources say Brendon took a swing at cops.
We're told Brendon then beat a hasty retreat -- in vain, because Jaafar isn't the only one who has a taser.
Brendon was tased twice, subdued and taken to a hospital.
He's currently being booked for felony vandalism -- for allegedly damaging some property during the fracas.
"Laguna Beach" pseudo-star Jason Wahler got a serious dose of reality Thursday night -- because dude was cuffed and thrown into the back of a pickup truck in Mexico after he allegedly got into a fight at a nightclub.
Sources tell TMZ it all went down at the Pink Kitty nightclub in Cabo San Lucas where Wahler allegedly got into a scuffle with someone inside the bar.
We're told security escorted Wahler outside after the alleged fight where cops manhandled him and tossed him into the back of a pickup truck.
The local police told us they didn't have anybody named Jason Wahler in their jail ... and so far no comments from his rep or lawyer ... so ... if you we never see him again, we know why.
One of 50 Cent's bodyguards was taken into custody after an alleged fight with several photogs outside a hotel in Copenhagen.
Copenhagen Police tell TMZ they are holding the bodyguard pending charges. They have 24 hours to decide whether or not to bring charges before a judge.
Kid Rock has to pay three guys who sued him over an alleged fight last year a total of $35,000 ... not bad considering they originally demanded $15 million.
The three men filed the lawsuit last year, claiming Rock and three members of the Boo-Yaa Tribe hip-hop group assaulted them outside of an L.A. hotel in 2006.
The jury in the case reached the verdict moments ago in L.A. County Superior Court -- and ordered Rock to fork over $35k for the three guys to split.
Doesn't sound bad until you realize they weren't awarded any attorneys fees ... which means a nice chunk of that will be handed over to their lawyers.
Dennis Hopper's divorce is epic nasty ... and now we've learned Dennis' lawyer has pulled out his most potent weapon -- a chocolate bunny rabbit.
We've learned Victoria Hopper's lawyer, Sorrell Trope, fired off a letter to Dennis' hired gun, Joe Mannis, demanding the return of various items, including a toothbrush, dog bowls and coffee mugs.
According to official documents obtained by TMZ, Mannis sent Trope a gift basket filled with sardonic goodies, including a chocolate bunny rabbit, dog bowls and a Spiderman toothbrush.
Lawyers bearing gifts are frowned upon, so today in court, Trope came to court -- gift basket in hand -- and said thanks but no thanks, and left it in the courtroom hallway on top of the trash can.
TMZ has obtained the raw footage of the "Jersey Shore" boardwalk brawl that a couple claims was edited to make them look like the aggressors and not Ronnie and Sammi ... but after watching it, we're still not sure who's to blame.
Joshua Thomas and Kristin Perrenod claim the footage -- which they submitted as an exhibit in the lawsuit they filed against MTV -- proves the network and the "Jersey" producers diced up the tape in a way that was "inconsistent with what really took place."
Check out the video for yourself and then let us know ...
Travis Barker got into a heated argument with paparazzi outside a restaurant in Calabasas and cops took a report ... sources tell TMZ.
We're told it happened as Travis and some of his friends were on their way out of the restaurant. The agency involved claims their guys did nothing to provoke the incident -- and that Barker had a run-in with two other photogs on the way in.
Cops were able to confirm they were called to the location, but wouldn't confirm Barker was involved. There were no arrests made, but a vandalism report was taken.
We've tried to reach out to Travis, so far no luck.
Oakland Raider Javon Walker made his triumphant return to the Las Vegas nightlife this weekend -- but more importantly, he made it out safely ... this time.
As TMZ previously reported, Walker was robbed and beat down back in June '08 after some bad guys targeted the NFL star after he was in a champagne spraying play fight in a nightclub ... while wearing a ridiculously expensive watch.
This time, Walker kept a low profile, quietly sipping on a beverage with his pal Bow Wow at Vanity at the Hard Rock Hotel -- while wearing a much more subtle timepiece.
The Joe Francis/Jayde Nicole club fight fiasco is one step closer to being a distant memory -- a judge tossed out part of Joe's lawsuit against Jayde.
The alleged altercation took place back in August. Authorities decided not to press charges, but Joe and Jayde sued each other for assault and battery.
Forget about checking for drugs, the real reason the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather ain't happening -- Mayweather's a "coward" ... at least according to Manny's trainer.
This week in L.A., Freddie Roach slammed Floyd for "pulling out" of the proposed Vegas showdown -- adding "Mayweather doesn't make the rules" when it comes to blood tests.
Mayweather sees things differently -- he thinks Manny's just a "punk ass."
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not only blaming Manny Pacquiao for backing out of their big fight -- now the Pretty Boy has resorted to name-calling ... threatening to whip Manny's "punk ass."
Floyd claims he's "thoroughly disgusted" that members of Pacquiao's camp are trying to blame Mayweather for standing in the way of the fight.
In a brutal statement, Mayweather states, "First and foremost, not only do I want to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to whip his punk ass."
Floyd also claims the real reason Manny won't get in the ring is because he doesn't want to take a steroid test.
Mayweather added, "In my opinion it is Manny Pacquiao and his team who are denying the people a chance to see the biggest fight ever. I know the people will see through their smokescreens and lies. I am ready to fight and sign the contract. Manny needs to stop making his excuses, step up and fight."
Floyd MayweatherJr. was ready to rumble with a famous nemesis in Vegas this weekend -- but just before a fight broke out, Diddy saved the day.
It all went down at the grand opening of Vanity nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel -- which was hosted by Diddy. We're told Floyd Mayweather Jr. rolled over to the party to see Diddy, when he literally ran into rapper Rick Ross.
Sources tell TMZ one of the men "bumped" into the other man and their entourages immediately became "confrontational."
But as things started to heat up, we're told Diddy swooped in between the guys and calmed everyone down.
We called Mayweather's camp for comment and his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., told us there's been beef between Floyd and Ross for a while because Ross has allegedly been, "talking s**t."
We're told both Mayweather Jr. and Ross eventually went back in the club and partied the rest of the night away without incident.
Calls to Rick Ross were not returned. No comment from Camp Diddy.
Manny Pacquiao is fighting his way out of an extremely tough spot -- dude's been named as a witness in a nasty legal war between his legendary boxing trainer and two members of his famously tight entourage.
It's all over an alleged incident in 2008 at the L.A. gym where Manny trains. A male member of Manny's entourage claims he was threatened and viciously attacked by trainer Freddie Roach after he dropped Manny off at the gym. The alleged victim and his wife filed suit against Roach.
The trial is set to begin today and Manny is smack in the middle of the official "joint witness list" -- meaning he could be called to testify in the case.
Mike Tyson threatened to kill the paparazzo he allegedly assaulted at LAX back in November -- and now the tape has finally surfaced ... but, it's heavily edited.
In the vid, Iron Mike is stoic as he walks through the airport with his wife and their child.
Six minutes into the video ... as the pap follows him toward the bathroom, Mike snaps, "You can't come through here. Put that away brother, I will kill you!" After that, Tyson charges at the camera ... and the tape stops.
But here's the mystery. The video -- which TMZ obtained from an outside agency -- was shot by a photographer who made at least 7 edits before handing it over. Did he incite Tyson? Did he touch the baby's stroller, as Tyson claims? We don't know.
The L.A. City Attorney rejected the case against both Tyson and the photog last week -- citing "insufficient evidence."
